"King's Arm Highway" - A Route Addon for RailWorks.
(Public Release Version 1.0. Date: May 03, 2010)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Created by Don McPherson (LoneWolfDon).
Visit my site at: www.RRYard.com for lots of useful RailWorks and Train-Simulation resources such as; Video Tutorials, Route & Scenarios addons for RailWorks, online Flash Games and useful Links.
The development of this route & scenarios took hundreds of hours and a lot of effort on my part. If you enjoy this route & scenarios that come with it and would like to show your thanks (plus it would help support my efforts for my future route & scenario building projects), then please consider making a Donation to me. It would be greatly appreciated (visit my site at www.rryard.com for more details on giving Donations).
Route Info:
~~~~~~~~~~~
Explore the scenic King's Arm Highway route.
There is a variety of landscapes you will drive your trains through; country, farms, forests, rivers, mountains and suburbs.
Climb up the majestic "King's Arm Mountain" in which a tunnel goes through, and on either side of the mountain are the rocky ridges of the "King's Arms". The overall route's rail-road network that passes through the various areas make up the "King's Arm Highway".

Several scenarios will be included with the main route-package of this route, and more extra "Bonus Scenarios" will also be available separately (for more info, visit my site at www.rryard.com ).

Requirements:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This route makes use of mainly default stock and assets that come installed with RailWorks.
However, I also make use of some Freeware addons: "LongBow's Enamel Sign pack", and "SAD's Foilage Pack 1" which come already packaged with this route file and should automatically be installed when installing this route, so there should be no need to install those addons separately.
However, one of my duplicate scenarios for this route makes use of "Scott Hoarty's Union Pacific ES44AC reskin two pack" (this pack will not replace any default stock), which is a Freeware addon that can be downloaded from the following page:
http://www.scotthoarty.com/index.php/railworks-addons
Installation:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Launch RailWorks. From the initial RailWorks launch window, click on the "Package Manager" tab.
If any previous version of my "King's Arm Highway" route was already installed, then you should first Uninstall the older version.

To install this version, simply click on the "Install" button, then navigate to the ".rwp" route file, select it then let it install. Once the installation progress-bar has completed, the route should be installed.

Also, it may be a good idea after installing to click on the "Tools & Docs" tab, and then click on the "Clear Cache" button. Once the Cache has been cleared, Start RailWorks then from the route list you should now see the "King's Arm Highway" route listed. Select it, and then choose a scenario to load in. Wait for the scenario to load in, follow any instructions from the Dispatcher and enjoy! :)
